Moor-ena El

Please meet Moor-ena El. Why that name you may ask? Well, one of her hobbies is her being an Historian so I urge you to personally ask her; she is extremely excited about sharing. Moor-ena has been modeling since 2009.  Her experience includes calendar modeling, runway, print and working with various photographers, fashion designer.  Moor-ena 's modeling accomplishments include her being chosen as the Cover Model BBW Beauties Magazine's January 2012 issue and Plus Size Pin Up Blog's December 2011 issue.  Her pin up photos were also featured in Pin up Dolls - America's Lovliest Ladies 2011 Pin up Photo Collection book, and the accomplishments go on.

 

Moor-ena has been mixtape DJ'ing since 2004. Since the age of 12, her hobby was mixing different soundbytes on tapes. The main genres Moor-ena mixes is Bachata, Reggae, Salsa, R&B, Merengue, Mambo en la calle, Hip Hop, and whatever tickles her fancy. Moor-ena El is a dancer to her heart. She doesnt remember a time when she wasnt dancing. She specializes in African Latino dancing (Bachata, Merengue, Salsa, Samba etc.) Her fondest memories of her dancing are in Virginia with her various dance partners that quite a few she to this day keeps in contact with; including Daniel A. Asberry-El. She participated in various dance competitions in Virginia. Her quote: Who says women with cushion cant move like a butterfly?

 

Her other main hobbies include playing in her Mommys makeup.  Her other hobbies include singing, writing poetry and voiceover experimenting.  

 

What fuels Moor-ena El's life is her being in love with her family and their constant cloak over her. Needless to say, she has a very close-knit family. Her Mother and Gracious Sisters is her backbone and her foundation. Being that her family is Matriarchal, this subject of women and the need to uplift them is very dear to her.

 

Moor-ena's Mother was a model and she has always admired her phenomenal and speechless beauty inside and out. She strives to inherit her Mother's spirituality, beauty, class, lady/dama characteristics, her extraordinary personality, and her humbleness.

 

Moor-ena El loves researching ancient to current world Moorish history. As stated before, she is an historian by hobby. She educates family, friends and strangers alike about Tamoanchan/Moorish/world history.

 

Moor-ena El is a three-time undergraduate degree-completed Paralegal--and looking to pursue her J.D. in the future.
